This totem was a magical artifact that has kept Abigael Jameson-Caine's demonic form imprisoned for many years.
History[]
Francesca Jameson turned to the Elders for help in "curing" her elder daughter's "dark half". The Elders gave her the ritual to strip Abigael of her demon form before she could wreak any further havoc. When Abigael found out, she locked her mother and little sister in the house and tried to burn them alive. However, Francesca managed to escape and used the ritual on Abigael to strip her of her demonic form.[1]
Many years after Abigael left her home, she sent Jordan Chase on an errand—to retrieve the item from her sister. Waverly left the totem on her doorstep, and Jordan returned to Seattle with it. Abigael then opened the totem and restored her demonic form.[2]
Trivia[]
- It is still unknown how the ritual that the Elders gave to Francesca is performed. It is also unknown if the totem was given by the Elders as part of the ritual, or if Francesca got this item from somewhere else.
- Although the totem was able to strip Abigael of her demonic form, it was not able to strip her of her pyrokinesis[3], immortality[4], smoking[5] and Phase-Shifting[6].
- According to Abigael and Waverly, the totem came with a powerful weapon called the Blade of Clarity.
