The Antidote for the Malignant Demonic Parasite is a potion recipe from Francesca Jameson's Potion Book meant to destroy demonic parasites inside a host body.
Though useful in attacking demonic cells, should the body lack any actual demonic parasite, the potion will instead attack the body and lead to eventual death.
History[]
In "Dance Like No One is Witching", Harry Greenwood was injured by a Malignant demon while protecting witches. The injury on his arm led to various effects, such as dark spots on his arm, pain, delusion and possession. Left with no choice, Mel Vera and Macy Vaughn turned to Abigael Jameson-Caine for help. She brewed the antidote, but when Macy and Mel heard the risks, they refused to administer the antidote until they knew more. Abigael tried to persuade them to use the antidote instead of taking the time to find out what is causing his illness to no avail.
Eventually, Macy and Mel received an urgent message from Maggie Vera and had to rush to New Orleans to help save Jordan Chase. Abigael took advantage of the opportunity to inject the antidote into Harry's body, killing the parasite and saving him in the process.
Trivia[]
- Since Abigael is a hybrid, it's not clear exactly whose blood is needed for the potion (demon or witch) to complete it. However, as the potion is of a demonic nature, it is most likely that it requires demon blood in order to take effect.
