  • How did the younger gremlin become the current Tallyman?
    • After Quentin pickled his late brother, he took on the persona of a nursery rhyme so people would think he was something more than pathetic, sad and weak. Apparently, at some point he also teamed up with other powerless beings to create "The Unseen" that secretly subordinate to the Lost One.
  • How did Ray get cursed?
    • After the Faction's defeat, Ray tried to gather and sell as many artifacts they had as he could. However, one of the artifacts cursed him for disturbing it.

    • Sunny needed Mel's blood and Maggie's hair as ingredients for a potion, as well as bone from Kaela, in order to try and resurrect the Lost One during the Pink Moon.
  • Will Harry be able to talk to Macy with his new power?
    • Harry cannot talk to Macy in the Veil, as she has moved on.

References to the Original Charmed[]

  • The synopsis headline reads "SOMETHING WICKED THIS WAY COMES". The pilot episode of the original series had a similar title, with the word 'Wicked' changed to 'Wicca'.
  • Maggie develops Empathic Mimicry in this episode, allowing her to mimic the powers of those she empathically understands. In the original series, after gaining the power of Empathy, Phoebe Halliwell was able to channel other beings' emotions and replicate or channel their powers, which she often used to redirect projectile attacks.
  • Sunny is able to self-resurrect due to being a Nekomata cat. In the original, Katrina and Shadow were both feline familiars who gained human form and had nine lives.
  • The Pink Moon is mentioned to be historically associated with rebirth magic and was used by Sunny in an attempt to resurrect the Lost One. In the original series, the Blue Moon caused witches' powers to become erratic and unpredictable, and transformed the Charmed Ones into beasts.
  • Macy apparently moving on is a reference to how none of Prue's loved ones were able to contact her after her own death. As Piper and Phoebe wouldn't be able to move on properly if they constantly summoned her like their other deceased family members, they were barred from summoning her until they moved on from their grief.
    • However, in the comic continuation of the original series, it was revealed that Prue had escaped the afterlife and taken over the body of a braindead witch named Patience and assumed her life in the process. When the surviving sisters ask their mother and grandmother about Prue's whereabouts, they were lied to about Prue getting reincarnated.
  • Kaela and Paige were both wrapped in baby blankets when their parents gave them up.

Production Notes[]

  • The episode was watched by 0.33 million U.S. viewers.
