The Chains of Antioch were magical chains conjured by the Necromancer, Knansie, with the purpose of restraining the witch Cyd. However, despite the magical nature of the chains, Cyd somehow managed to destroy them and escape when she was left alone.

- Though never directly stated, it can be presumed that Cyd used her power to escape the restrainment.
- Τhe chains were likely named that way as a reference to the historical iron chains believed to have bound Saint Peter in Jerusalem for preaching about Jesus. Legend has it that he was miraculously released by an angel the night before his trial, and the chains simply "fell off". Given Peter's connection to Antioch, where he had established a church and was considered the first Bishop of Antioch, it is said that in the 5th century, the chains that had imprisoned him were sent to the bishop of Antioch and were dedicated to St. Peter as a religious relic.
