Chloe Periwinkle is a woodland pixie whose external heart was stolen by a mortal named Zack, who forced her to go after all white male students in his film class for his own agenda. Chloe killed one of the students and committed two murder attempts during her mission before finally being freed of Zack's control by the Vera-Vaughn Charmed Ones.

History[]

Early Life[]

Chloe was trapped by Zack, a film student who was desperate to become the best filmmaker of the generation. He stole Chloe's external heart, placing her under his control and made her go after the white male students in his class and make them either drop out of class or kill them.

Throughout the Series[]

In "Manic Pixie Nightmare", a mortal named Judd was magically enchanted by Chloe. She tried to convince Judd to drop out of class to go on a tour with her. When he refused, she influenced him with pixie dust to jump off a building with her. Judd live-streamed the whole event as it happened and he plummeted to his death while Chloe flew away. She almost killed Noah and Parker Caine, but Noah survived and Parker was saved by Maggie Vera.

When the Vera-Vaughn Charmed Ones realized she was the culprit, they set a trap to trap her. She fell into the trap momentarily, but escaped by hypnotizing Harry Greenwood and made him help her. After escaping back to the film department, Zack tried to use a spell in the stolen Book of Shadows to make his wish come true, but the sisters arrived and stopped him. While Mel Vera went after Zack, and Maggie and Parker Harry, Macy Vaughn went after Chloe to stop her. However, she was too fast for her. Mel managed to steal back Chloe's heart and make her go after Zack instead. Chloe made him knock himself out by sending pixie dust in his direction. After Mel gave Chloe back her heart, Chloe was guilt stricken by what happened. The sisters then suggested she team up with the other pixies so they could figure out where to hide their hearts so this kind of incident could never repeat itself.

In "The Source Awakens", Chloe was among a group of magical beings that visited the Charmed Ones to congratulate them for saving the world and to contemplate who would be in charge of the magical world now that the Elders were dead.

In "Not That Girl", Chloe's younger sister, Annie, was coming into her own as a pixie and such will gain her wings. Joséfina Reyes was invited to the party and decided to take Jordan Chase as her plus one as neither Maggie nor Mel were interested in it. Chloe introduced herself to Jordan and learned who he was. After determining Joséfina wasn't coming, Chloe took Jordan as her plus one for the party. During the ceremony, Chloe watched in horror as her sister developed horrible bat-like wings instead of traditional pixie wings. After the disastrous party, Jordan offered to have Mel and Maggie look into what had happened with Chloe's sister. However, Chloe declined the offer as it was an "pixie problem" and she did not want to bother the two surviving Charmed Ones with it. Later, Chloe talked with Annie who told her that she had got her offering from a man, but she refuses to say his name. Chloe hands her an pen and paper, figuring that Annie could write it down. As soon as she finished, Annie started bleeding from her eyes, dying instantly which left a hysterical Chloe not noticing what her sister had wrote down... The Tallyman.

In "You Can't Go Home Again", Chloe calls Jordan to inform him of her sister's death, and give him Annie's objects to look over for clues. She asks Harry Greenwood how to move forward when a part of her is gone. Harry answers he will tell her when he figures it out.

In "Divine Secrets of the O.G. Sisterhood", Chloe goes to Jordan for help: her other sister Daphne has gone missing. Despite their best effort to find her and learn of her connection to the Lost One, they failed to stop her when she sacrificed herself to empower Inara. Chloe was left in a daze of devastation before Jordan took her back to the Command Center.

In "The End Is Never The End", Maggie's future self sends a video tape that recorded everything they needed to know. By knowing what was going to happen, Maggie, Mel and Kaela changed the outcome. Maggie stopped Jordan from meeting with Chloe, and prevented her sister from sacrificing herself.

Personality[]

Being a pixie, Chloe is naturally cheerful and kind, does her best to live her life. She enjoys making candles, walking dogs and making cupcakes.

Physical Appearance[]

In her human appearance, Chloe takes the form of a young, white woman with brown hair and hazel eyes.

Powers and Abilities[]

Active Powers
  • Limited Shapeshifting: The ability to shift between her natural pixie form and into that of a more human appearance. While in her pixie form, Chloe resembles a fast-flying ball of yellow light and pixie dust.
    • Wing Manifestation: The ability to manifest wings on one's back and make them disappear at will. In Not That Girl, Chloe told Jordan that she got her wings years ago.
      • Flight: The ability to propel oneself through the air in any direction without outside assistance with the help of her wings.
  • Pixie Dust Generation: The ability to generate pixie dust out of one's own body.

Weaknesses[]

  • External Heart: Chloe wears her heart around her neck like a pendant. If her heart is stolen, she will fall under that person's control until it is returned to her.

  • Chloe and Annie: Chloe and Annie were very close. Chloe was happy for her sister when it was time for her pixie fledgling ceremony, and was devastated when she died.

  • Chloe and Judd: Judd was magically enchanted by Chloe, under the control of Zack. Chloe tried to convince Judd to drop out of class to go on a tour with her. Enemies[]

  • Chloe and The Tallyman: He killed her sister by hexing if she would ever to reveal his name. Although Chloe didn’t actively seek him out she was relived when he died since he would no longer hurt the magical community.
  • Chloe and Zack: Zack trapped Chloe in a pixie trap and stole her heart to make her fall under his control. While she acted as his obedient slave, he had her go after all the white male students in his class, and later steal the Vera sisters' Book of Shadows. After Mel stole back the heart, Chloe was freed.

Trivia[]

  • Chloe is the first pixie to appear in the series.
  • Without her heart in Manic Pixie Nightmare, Chloe became the literal "Manic Pixie Dream Girl" trope, existing only to serve the "one who had her heart."
    • In the real world, Manic Pixie Dream Girl (or just MPDG) is a stock character type in films, who "exists solely in the fevered imaginations of sensitive writer-directors to teach broodingly soulful young men to embrace life and its infinite mysteries and adventures."
  • Chloe is the fifth character to physically reappear since the Vera-Vaughn sisters relocated to Seattle after season 1. The others were Marisol, Parker, Dexter, and Heidi.
