Choochi is a friend of Ray Vera's from the police force. He no longer works there, but still has connections on the force.
History[]
Choochi, while working as a cop, had shady connections with Ray Vera. He would help Ray break into illegal archives for various reasons, such as hacking into security systems and tracking license plates.
After Ray found out his daughters were alive and at war with the Faction, he gave Mel Vera Choochi's phone number. They had been in touch since whenever the Vera-Vaughn Charmed Ones needed help; Mel was initially skeptic due to Choochi's name, but later grew some respect for him as his information was very helpful for them at times.
In 2022, Choochi and Ray found a magic canvas and mailed it to the Vera-Danso Charmed Ones. This object helped Kaela Danso to see her biological parents. He had also been keeping tabs on Mel and Maggie Vera since Macy Vaughn died.

- According to Joey Falco on Twitter, it would have been revealed in Season 5 that Choochi was actually Niko Hamada. However, as this has never came to pass in-universe, this information is currently noncanon.
