The Clarion Potion is a potion that plants the seed of an idea into the mind of one individual. There is an entry on this potion in the Book of Elders.
Overview[]
This red-colored potion changes how you see yourself, and in turn, how the world sees you. When the individual who has drunk the potion comes into contact with others, it continues to spread the idea like a mind virus.
History[]
In "An Inconvenient Truth", Macy Vaughn was going to use this potion on Julian Shea to spread that idea of magic not being real throughout the Faction, but after revealing to Julian that his aunt Vivienne Laurent had lied about his sister Rosemary and had been manipulating him the entire time, the potion was given to Jimmy by Mel and Maggie Vera for him to have a fresh start as "a good man" in England.
In "Someone's Going to Die", it was used on Nadia, a member of the Faction, after Macy and Harry Greenwood kidnapped her and orbed her to another continent. She was fed the idea of magic not being real.
In "Triage", with magic slowly dying from the world, the potion on Jimmy wore off and he returned to his evil ways before Harry killed him.
