Cocooning is the power to wrap one's prey inside a cocoon for preservation, awaiting to be devoured.
Overview[]
The users of this ability are able to wrap their target in preservative cocoon-like structures until it is time to devour the prey.
Cicada Demons[]
Cicada Demons incapacitate their victims with an oral venom and take the individuals back to their lair. Then, the victims are wrapped up in cocoons made of web, and the demons put their queen's eggs on them. When the eggs hatch, the demon hatchlings devour the victims.
Lamias[]
Lamias' cocoons are made of enzymes that slowly liquify their victims' organs, bones, and skin. Once the liquefaction process is complete, the lamias devour them. If found and brought out of the cocoons before they are liquified, the victims can be saved.
