His demonic character was originally given the human name "Alastair Caine,"^[1]^[2]^[3] but in "Other Women," it was changed to "Alistair Caine" for unknown reasons.
Craig is openly gay. He came out in an interview with The New Zealand Herald in 2008.
He has Scottish, Welsh, Danish, English and Cornish ancestry. His grandfather moved from Edinburgh, Scotland to Fiji when he was stationed during his years of service in the British Army.
