The Double Blades are one of Mel Vera's gifts from her mother, Marisol Vera, along with the Time Bracelet.
Overview[]
The blades are used by Mel Vera mainly when using her time bracelet. If an opponent could not be frozen, she could accelerate her own time to increase her speed with her bracelet and use the double blades to fight her enemy. According to Marisol, these blades are enchanted to give Mel the skills to use them, without any previous training.
They were first used in "Ambush" when the sisters were fighting Hunter Caine.
In "Red Rain", Mel tried to use them against Parker Caine.
