Fading is a form of the power of teleportation, allowing the user to teleport through a flash or fade of light.
Overview[]
The users of this ability are able to teleport through flashes of light that may vary in color, engulfing their entire form in light before 'fading' out of existence, and 'fading' into existence at their intended destination. In some instances, for example: Abiku Demons, there is no specific lighting effect and the being simply fades their entire body in and out of existence.
When Macy Vaughn took on the Source, she was able to fade other people without the need to physically touch them.

Trivia[]
- In the original series, this power was available across the alignment spectrum. While demons were the majority of wielders of Fading, neutral beings such as the Avatars and even good beings such as Witch Doctors, Nymphs and Ogres could use it.
- In the reboot, Fading is also the method of teleportation with the most variations in appearance.
