Hybrids are any magical species that are a combination of two different species. Hybridization is most commonly caused through reproduction. These hybrids possess both the strengths and some of the weaknesses of their parent races, along with powerful attributes unique to themselves alone due to their combined heritage. It is typical that these hybrids will inherit powers from one or both magical parents and may develop unique hybrid powers, such as Electrokinetic Orbing.
Whitelighter-Witch Hybrids[]

Whitelighter-Witches are the offspring of a Whitelighter and a witch. A romantic relationship between a witch and a Whitelighter was forbidden by the Elders, and, for this reason, these hybrids are viewed as abominations. The first and only individual of this breed shown was Jada Shields. Jada was born to an unnamed witch and Whitelighter and was adopted by a human couple. At some point, she ran away from home due to her coming into her powers and was saved by the Sarcana. After the massacre of the coven at the hands of Fiona Callahan, Jada was left the sole survivor.
Demon-Mortal Hybrids[]

Half-Demons are the offspring of a demon and a mortal. These hybrids are capable of experiencing emotions such as love, unlike pure-blooded demons. This can sway them to the side of good, even if the pull of evil is great. Some demons intentionally create hybrids by mating with mortals for various selfish purposes. The first of this breed shown was Parker Caine. Parker is the son of the demon Alastor and the mortal Julia Wagner. Since he is a demon born of a human, Parker was a potential candidate to become the host for The Source of All Evil. Therefore, Parker's father wanted to release the Source so that Parker could host him, making their family the most powerful in The Underworld. Parker later had his demonic powers stripped, so that he could lead a life outside of magic.
Demon-Witch Hybrids[]

Demon-Witches are a cross between a demon and a witch. For this reason, they possess powers of both demons and witches. The first known of this breed shown was Abigael Jameson-Caine. She is the daughter of the demon, Alastor, and a witch, Francesca Jameson. Due to being a female, she was looked at as an abomination by her demonic family and was raised by her mother. She held the role of Demon Overlord, but voluntarily gave up her throne to be with her sister and niece.
Due to the circumstances of her resurrection, Macy Vaughn had demonic blood flowing through her veins which provided her with demonic powers. This made her a nonhereditary hybrid.
