Leprechauns are a species of magical beings. They were among the nine original magical tribes who helped create the first Charmed Ones 10,000 years ago.
Overview[]
Leprechauns are humanoid beings, who seemingly possess a standard height, despite being commonly misinterpreted as being dwarf-sized. They are known to speak in an Irish accent. Leprechauns wear green or red clothing, as shown through Frank and Flora who typically wore track suits. It has also been shown, when Frank exploded after accidentally consuming the Tallyman's elixir, that their bodies consist of a green substance and four-leaf clovers.

Throughout the Series[]
In "You Can't Go Home Again", Jordan Chase and Harry Greenwood look into the origin of the coins that had been corrupting otherwise docile beings at the Blue Camellia and find out they came from a leprechaun named Frank. Frank refuses to give information until Harry lies about having poisoned the bottle of wine they just shared, then proceeded to "heal" Jordan while Jordan "healed" him. This scared Frank enough to give them the address to the place where he collected the coins from the Tallyman.

Trivia[]
- In Irish folklore, leprechauns are small, mischievous beings often depicted as little bearded men dressed in coats and hats. Over time, they became known as shoemakers with a hidden pot of gold at the end of the rainbow. Occasionally, they are portrayed as creatures who bring good luck to those they encounter.
- In the original Charmed series, leprechauns were diminutive magical beings who used enchanted gold nuggets to spread luck throughout the world. The Charmed Ones started befriending leprechauns when the latter were targeted by a demon. Since then, the leprechauns have occasionally helped the Charmed Ones in their magical problems.
- There is little known about the nature of leprechauns in the rebooted Charmed series, such as any of their magical attributes or powers, as only two leprechauns appeared throughout the series and neither of them used any magic.
- Unlike the original series, where leprechauns were extremely short, they apparently have the same height range as regular humans in the reboot.
- This could potentially be a reference to the sixth season episode, Spin City of the original series in which a wicked witch cursed a leprechaun into becoming very tall, thus rendering his magic dormant until Paige Matthews reversed the effects and vanquished the wicked witch. It is also possible that this is coincidental similarity.
