Lost Memory Balm is a potion that is used to restore lost memories. It is required that the blue ointment to be rubbed on the intended person's forehead and must be used in conjunction with a spell. There is an entry on this in the Book of Elders.
History[]
In "Don't Look Back in Anger", Macy Vaughn attempted to use the balm on Harry Greenwood when he had lost his memories after being captured by the Faction, but a chip that the Faction had implanted in his head to suppress his memories caused the spell to backfire and affect Macy instead when the balm accidentally got on her. The balm made her remember the first time that she used her power of pyrokinesis at the age of twenty, which traumatized her. Though the spell worked for her, it also nearly killed her. Harry, with Jordan Chase's help, was able to remove the chip, retrieving his memory in the process, and allowing him to remember how to heal Macy before it was too late.
