Mo is one of the Perfecti, along with his partner Aladria, who were created over twenty-thousand years ago to find and imprison magical beings that they deem too chaotic within the Tomb of Chaos.
History[]
Early Life[]
In ancient times, when the world was still in its primitive state, magic and dangerous creatures roamed. Wishing for order, all the magical tribes mixed their magic together to create the Perfecti; two magical beings considered purely perfect. Mo and his partner Aladria then created the "Benevolent Classification and Containment System for Rampageous Beings and Unpredictable Objects in Fifth-Dimensional Space-Time" in which to imprison any magical creatures that they deemed chaotic. At some point, Mo and Aladria battled an ancient incarnation of the Charmed Ones. Though the witches were able to lock them up and put them in a slumber inside the tomb dimension, the Perfecti also had a golem bring about the end of that sisterhood.
For eons, the Perfecti remained asleep inside the tomb until 2021, when the Vera-Vaughn Charmed Ones accidentally woke them up from their slumber.
Throughout the Series[]
In "Bruja-Ha", Aladria and Mo appear before Mel Vera out of swirls of blue and white energy. Unable to communicate with words, they belt a deafening sound in unison that sends Mel into attack mode, but strangely her molecular powers don't render any effect on the pair. Mel escapes back to the Command Center. To her and Harry Greenwood's surprise, they have followed. They start releasing the deafening sound again. Mel casts a containment spell around them, but they easily break through and steal Harry's powers. Mel then tries a spell her cousin Joséfina Reyes created and successfully binds them to the staircase rails while neutralizing their powers. Joséfina later watches over them with curiosity. Mo and Aladria speak into their strange sounds. While neutralized, their sound causes the Stone Tablet to react. Thinking they might be connected, Joséfina takes a chance and releases them. The Perfecti immediately touch her head and knocks her out.
When Mel and Maggie Vera return to the Command Center and find Joséfina unconscious on the floor, they call Macy Vaughn and Harry for backup. Meanwhile, the Perfecti have rendered everyone in the building unconscious. Mel prepares to bind them again, but then Joséfina rushes out to tell them that they mean no harm, they just want to understand the new language and the new world. When an invisible Worm Monster shows up behind Maggie, they see it and open a rift to the Tomb of Chaos to trap it. By now, they have learnt enough to be able to speak English.
Aladria and Mo talk with the Vera-Danso Charmed Ones about how they were created as two perfect beings to capture and entrap all chaotic creatures that roamed the Earth eons ago. After their jobs were done, they went to sleep until a week ago when someone read from the stone tablet and woke them. They offer to help capture all the creatures that escaped and fix the rift if the sisters want their help. Macy then asks them about the allergy that was put on them. Mo and Aladria confess they created the allergy as a fail-safe to keep whoever opened the tomb from coming into contact with magical beings. While they couldn't undo the allergy, they could tell them how to do it.
The next day, Maggie, Mel, and Macy set off to points unknown with Mo and Aladria watching.
In "Witchful Thinking", the Vera-Vaughn Charmed Ones gain the ability to will things to go their way after using an Enchanted Egg to lift their allergy following the Perfecti's instructions. They later realize the power comes at the cost of people's lives, and confront the Perfecti about it. Knowing they don't wish for people to get hurt, the Perfecti instruct them to return the egg to exactly where they found it, which would automatically restore everything. Meanwhile, Abigael Jameson-Caine's loss of control over her demonic side garners the Perfecti's attention. When she tries to bind her powers with Jordan Chase's help, the Perfecti come for her and trap both her and Jordan.
In "Spectral Healing", Mo gives Harry Soul Softeners, a paper, and a needle. He tells him to give one softener to a male descendant of his and use the needle to extract a soul sample, as is one of the ingredients to make him human again.
In "Chaos Theory", Maggie finds out from the Perfecti that Jordan has been trapped in the Tomb along with Abigael because the latter came to attack them in her sleep and when they came for her, they put Jordan in simply for being there holding a dagger. The Vera-Vaughn Charmed Ones persuade the Perfecti give them a chance: they will hold a trial in which case the sisters must prove Abigael's innocence to save Jordan or they will both be trapped there forever. They also give the sisters the keys to open the tomb so they can find Jordan and Abigael without getting trapped themselves. While the sisters provide materials to prove Abigael's innocence, the Perfecti have found counterproof: memory of Abigael stealing Macy's demon powers and testimony from Abigael's mother, Francesca Jameson, who expresses deep hatred of her daughter. They then hold trial for a traumatized Jordan as well. The trial goes nowhere and tension escalates when the Charmed Ones accuse the Perfecti of being the truly chaotic ones. It comes to a boiling point when the Perfecti condemn Abigael and Jordan to be imprisoned, forcing the sisters to use the Power of Three against them. The Perfecti escape and Jordan and Abigael are saved. The Perfecti later return to the Command Center and take back the Stone Tablet and express their plan to destroy the Charmed Ones, just as they did in the past.
In "Perfecti Is the Enemy of Good", Aladria and Mo implant a magical implosion in Mel's head and warns her to tell her sisters to give up Abigael or her head will explode. They lay in wait, calculating the Vera-Vaughn Charmed Ones would use the Memory Mirror to look into their memories and use that knowledge to change their memory images to trick them into creating a Golem, a creature impervious to magic. When they hear Celeste mutter the word "vervek", they know their plan is coming to fruition. When the Protective Candles all etinguish, they believe the Charmed Ones had been destroyed along with the Golem and go to the deserted Tulipe Institute. They open a rift to the Tomb of Chaos, ready to entrap "Abigael". To their surprise, "Abigael" turns out to be Maggie in glamour form. Macy then steals their necklaces and Celeste lights the candles again to neutralize their powers. Macy orders the golem to trap the Perfecti. Mo and Aladria try to reason with them that a terrible danger is coming and they need their help or they will never survive it, but they refuse to listen and have the monster toss them into the tomb. By imprisoning them, the deadly enchantment on Mel is lifted and she wakes up.
In "What to Expect When You're Expecting the Apocalypse", the Whispering Evil viciously recalled how Mo and Aladria imprisoned him in the Tomb.
In "The Storm Before the Calm", Mo was mentioned by Aladria when she suggested that the Vera-Vaughn Charmed Ones release them so that the Perfecti could again imprison the Whispering Evil in the Tomb.
Personality[]
TBA
Physical Appearance[]
Despite his many thousands years of age, Mo has the appearance of a tall, muscular African male in his late 30s to early 40s with a bald head. He wears a long, purple robe and a few accessories, including a ring on his middle finger, diamond earrings, and a bloodstone amulet.
Powers and Abilities[]
- Active Powers
- Beaming: The ability to teleport by breaking down into a mass of blue, glowing energy before 'beaming' upward and dematerializing, and 'beaming' downward and rematerializing in the same mass of bright energy at the intended destination.
- Power Absorption: The ability to absorb the magical abilities of a target, leaving the original owner without their powers. The Perfecti were able to "borrow" Harry Greenwood's powers, rendering him completely mortal.[1]
- Power Granting: The ability to bestow magical abilities upon another being. The Perfecti were also able to return Harry's powers.
- Remote Teleportation: The ability to teleport another being from one location to another instantaneously. Mo used this ability to summon Abigael Jameson-Caine and Jordan Chase from the Tomb of Chaos during their trial.[2]
- Sensing: The ability to determine the location and status of other beings by concentrating on them. The Perfecti were able to sense when the golem had been activated by Celeste.[3]
- Sound Emission: The ability to produce sounds of high frequency from the mouth. Most commonly, the sounds produced are so powerful that nearby people feel pain from the high pitched frequency. The ability has also been shown to be able to cause destructive effects, as the Perfecti were able to completely destroy Lady Justitia with this power[2] and later were able to produce a magical frequency into the blood vessels of Mel Vera's brain so high that it would cause her head to explode in a matter of hours.[3] Additionally, it appears that these frequencies are actually The Perfecti's language, as that was the way they communicated with one another before learning English[1], and as they are shown to access other powers and cause various magical effects with them, these sounds may be their own form of spell casting.
- Conjuration: The ability to make something materialize at will. The Perfecti are capable of conjuring various enchanted objects such as the memory mirror, the keys enchanted to open the Tomb of Chaos, and the magical statue Lady Justitia.
- Energy Beam Emission: The ability to produce beams of powerful energy from one's hands. The Perfecti most commonly use this ability to create the portals to imprison any beings that they've deemed too chaotic into the Tomb of Chaos. However, this ability can be used offensively as well, as shown when the Charmed Ones attacked the Perfecti with the Power of Three when the duo attempted to imprison Jordan once again. Mo and Aladria were able to hold off the Charmed Ones for a few moments before finally beaming away.[2]
- Portal Creation: The ability to create openings in space from location to another. The Perfecti can only create portals leading into the Tomb of Chaos. The portals leading to the tomb appear as white, glowing upside-down triangular openings in space that are capable of sucking the beings into the prison dimension.
- Telepathy: The ability to access the mind of another being. This power is channeled by clutching at the top of the target's head. After the target's mind has been read, they will be knocked out.[1]
- Passive Powers
- Immortality: The ability to live a potentially eternal life. The Perfecti are known to have been created over twenty-thousand years ago.
- Immunity: The ability to be unaffected by certain magical abilities, spells and/or potions. The Perfecti were completely immune to Mel Vera's molecular accelerating ability.
- Resistance: The ability to resist and fight through certain magical abilities, spells and/or potions. Mo was able to reach through Mel's containment spell. The Perfecti were also able to alter the memories viewed through the memory mirror, as Celeste and the Charmed Ones attempted to view their memories to learn how to battle them.
Weaknesses[]
- The Power of Three: Mo, even though he's one of the most powerful beings, he's not strong enough to match the Power of Three, as he and Aladria, were defeated by it, in a battle against the Charmed Ones.
- Protective Candles: These candles, when enchanted, are capable of containing the Perfecti, negating their power and cloak a location or place, disallowing them to sense anything and anyone in that place.
