Potions are magical concoctions or mixtures that can achieve various effects when brewed with the necessary herbs, spices, and other ingredients. They are primarily liquids, but some exist as powders or pastes. The effect of a potion depends on the used ingredients or accompanied spell.
An antidote (or counter-serum) is a potion that could counter the effects of another potion or can be used to reverse certain magical anomalies.
Usage of Potions[]
Potions can be used in various ways. Some potions are meant to be consumed to be effective, while some are meant to be pasted out across the arms or hands. In some cases, the potion is in the form of a powder which must be thrown or blown at the targeted object or being.
Some potions are required to be used in combination with a spell to achieve the desired effect or a spell can be used to increase the power or vice versa.

Trivia[]
- In the original series, potions were mostly thrown, bottled, towards a target for a desired magical effect. In the reboot, most potions are in powdery forms and require to be blown at a target to cast them.
- While potions are obviously made with a wide assortment of ingredients and can be a variety of different colors, it has been shown that potions are most commonly green in color. Of all the potions shown within the series, there were ten that were of a green shade, eight were red or pink, and seven were blue in color.
