Synopsis[]
WHAT FEELS RIGHT – While Harry (Rupert Evans) and Macy (Madeleine Mantock) unravel the mystery of an ancient magical artifact, Mel (Melonie Diaz) helps Abby (Poppy Drayton) track down an unseen evil force, and Maggie (Sarah Jeffery) deals with academic sabotage. Also starring Jordan Donica.
Plot[]
Maggie finds a video of an alien hunter named Elliot Larson who lives in Lake Tahoe. She thinks he might be connected to the creatures they have been battling after seeing a symbol in his video. Macy asks Harry to get with her to Lake Tahoe and be her partner in crime, and he agrees. Macy notices an orb that Elliot has, and she steals it when Elliot isn't looking. Harry looks at the orb and says he wants to figure out what is going on, and it possesses him, and he starts acting crazy. Macy revisits Elliot, and he says that Harry will go mad and die if he keeps the orb. Macy wants to take it away from him, but he does not want to give it to her. She can get through to him and get the orb back.
Mel has coffee with Ruby, but it is still difficult because they still can't touch each other. Ruby's friend Bella comes and hugs Ruby, and Mel becomes jealous. Abigael asks Mel to watch her sleep because she thinks a demon is trying to kill her in her sleep, and Mel reluctantly agrees. Abby's bed catches on fire while Mel is watching her, but she misses how it happened. Later in the night, Ruby knocks on Mel's door, and Abby interrupts them while they are talking. Ruby gets upset that Abby is with Mel. Mel thinks Abby did this on purpose and is angry at her and says she can stay one night but then has to leave. They later discover Abigael turning into a demon and trying to harm herself.
Maggie is about to begin her movement therapy clinic and is upset when nobody shows up. She realizes all of the names on the signup sheet are joke names, and she thinks Antonio, the student she has a rivalry with, is behind it, and she ruins a sign that he put up. She talks to him, and he says on the frats are playing pranks. She takes him out for a drink to apologize and has a vision of them in bed together.

Unanswered Questions[]
- What is Abigael's subconscious trying to tell her?
- What does Maggie's vision of herself being in bed with Antonio really signify?
- Where is the “Magical Alcatraz”?
References to the Original Charmed[]
- Abigael's "sleep-harming" loosely connects to Prue's astral projecting when she went to sleep.
- Maggie's vision of a future in-bed incident with Antonio shares similarities to Phoebe seeing herself in bed with ex-boyfriend Clay, as well as marrying Dex Lawson seven seasons later.
- In this episode, Maggie magically changes Antonio's phone number to sabotage his project. In the original series, Paige once cast a spell on a colleague as punishment for being a pervert.
- This episode strongly mentions alien activity. While the original series mentioned little of aliens, the non-canonical novel Survival of the Fittest featured such events taking place. Women of different ethnicities and ages in San Francisco were abducted then returned home moments later with an obsession for exercise. One of the sisters, Piper, fell under the same thrall, albeit through an exercise commercial. Finally, all of the affected women gathered in a local park and performed a ritual that summoned forth a demon trapped in an otherworldly realm.
- Alcatraz was mentioned. It was often seen during the guest starring credits and was the focused location of the episode "The Power of Two" where the sisters fought the ghost of Jackson Ward, a serial killer who was imprisoned and executed in the prison, and remained trapped there after his death.
- Abigael attacks Mel with her power of pyrokinesis to which Mel responds with her Molecular Inhibition. In the original series, P. Russel and P. Bowen had a similar fight with their powers of pyrokinesis and cryokinesis.
- It's revealed that Abigael unknowingly transformed into a demon and went feral. In the original series, the Charmed Ones turned into beasts under the blue moon and lost control of their actions.
- The name of Elliot Larson is a reference to "Elliot Spencer" and "Christina Larson", both characters from the original Charmed.
Production Notes[]
- The episode was watched by 0.40 million U.S. viewers.
Quotes[]
Jordan: Last year, life kicked our butts. This year, we're gonna kick its ass back.
Maggie: Hell yeah, we are!
Elliot: So, what did it smell like when those aliens portalled you through that beam of light?
Macy: Well, um. It was kind of, like, burnt marshmallow.
Antonio: You have this... natural way of connecting with people. It's pretty intimidating.
Maggie: But you always talk over me.
Antonio: I do... I come from a family of three boys, where if you didn't talk the loudest... you weren't heard.
Mel: I guess just seeing you hug instant muffin girl made me feel... Insecure.
Ruby: And seeing you with that demon spawn Abigael made me feel... the same.
Mel: I don't want Abby. I want you!
