Roxie is the beguiling owner of magical nightclub "The Blue Camellia". She is a Circadian, who can only live on Earth for one year and then spend the next seven years in her own homeworld.

History[]

Early Life[]

Roxie and Camellia met under unknown circumstances, got married, and lived happily for a while. She sang in the Blue Camellia club, and on March 3, 1926, she almost died at the hands of the Vittra until time-traveling Maggie Vera and Kaela Danso rescued her. Roxie was grateful to them even though she didn't know their identities at the time.

However, despite a happy marriage, the loneliness and isolation eventually took a toll on Camellia, as she and Roxie could only be together for one year and only at the end of which the latter would have to sleep for another seven; that happened repeatedly over the decades. Camellia did her best to maintain her marriage and the bar and hide her emotional wounds from Roxie when she was around. They took in orphaned Duncan, who helped her take care of the place, but it wasn't enough to lift Camellia's spirits. The place had become a prison for her.

One day, demons broke into the bar looking for banshees. A fight erupted and nearly destroyed the bar. Camellia did her best to protect it, but in the aftermath, she finally had enough and left for locations unknown. Not wanting Roxie to close the bar and leave supernatural creatures unprotected, he told Roxie that Camellia had died in the attack.

Camellia's fate remains unknown at the moment, but Roxie believed in her death all this time, and her heart was broken.

Throughout the Series[]

In "Not That Girl", Mel, Maggie Vera, and Kaela Danso entered the bar to escape a Negative Space Being. Roxie had Duncan "smoke out" a patron for causing trouble in her bar. When she saw Mel, she loudly told the customers to hide their girlfriends. The Vera-Danso Charmed Ones asked Roxie for help on how to restore Joséfina Reyes, who had accidentally been turned into a paper doll after consuming an apple manifested from Kaela's drawing. Roxie told them what she knew and theorized, then told them to figure out how to save Joséfina before she "bleeds out" due to Maggie accidentally ripping off her arm.

In "You Can't Go Home Again", Roxie was present on the top floor of the club, watching Jordan Chase and Harry Greenwood, but she herself could not be seen from behind the curtain. She was the one who told Sunny, the bartender Harry and Jordan were asking information from, to direct the guys to the leprechaun Frank.

In "Unlucky Charmed", Roxie sent two goons to find Harry. The two have a conversation about his life as a Whitelighter and Kaela's inability to follow instructions. She then presented Harry two options: a Malleable Maven potion that would make Kaela more persuasive, and the special mushroom from the Forbidden Gnome Forest that would help Harry achieve his true self. When questioned why she would do him a favor, Roxie reveals that they are alike in immortality and having fallen in love with someone who died. Harry took the Malleable Maven, but later returned to trade for the mushroom. Roxie watched him consume the mushroom and vanish into thin air.

They discovered one of the members named Pip dead and shrink in size to find the other member Lloyd who they discovered killed Pip. It's revealed that Roxie is withholding the fact she's going into hibernation at the end of the day from Mel, although she does leave her a voicemail admitting while she gave Mel a hard time about being the hard one to be with. She admits it's actually her who's hard to be displaying vulnerability before she brings hibernation.

In "The End Is Never The End", due to watching the tape, Mel knows that Roxie would go into hibernation without telling her and confronts her about it. She also tells her that Pip was killed by Lloyd to save them the time from solving that mystery. Roxie asks Mel to look after the bar while she's gone and displays grogginess, admitting this always happens before her seven-year rest. Mel tells that while she doesn't know where she'll be emotionally in seven years when Roxie wakes up. She can always count on her.
