Artifacts[]
- Book of Elders: The Elders' tome of knowledge. Celeste attempted to read through the book in order to work out how to diminish Harry's regression.
- Book of Shadows ~2021~: The Vera family's tome of magical knowledge, recreated by Mel Vera and Josefina Reyes. Mel read through the book in order to find ways to lessen any adverse effects time travel could have on Maggie and Macy, and see if she could brew the Temporal Tea faster.
- Celeste's Pocket Watch: Celeste's timekeeper, and lifeline. She lent it to Maggie and Macy in order for them to travel to the future.
Trivia[]
- Mo and Aladria were seen in archive footage.
- Joséfina Reyes is mentioned. She was last seen in Witchful Thinking.
- The episode is named after Austrian-Irish physicist Erwin Schrodinger.
- Macy and Maggie got half an hour and, having stayed in the future longer than they should, they didn't get stuck there, but aged instantly when they returned to the present. However, in Triage, Celeste mentioned to Mel and Abigael that they would only have 15 minutes to retrieve the piece and return back to their time or they would become stuck in the future.
- Despite the watch breaking and being unable to function properly, Celeste still is able to live, she just now has to deal with gaining asthma and other human illnesses and die slowly. This contradicts the fact that Celeste explained in her first appearance that if her watch stops or is broken, she will die by being reduced to dust rapidly, as all five centuries of her life will catch up to her, causing her to rapidly age.
- Celeste utters the words: "Run, Harry. Run!" This is a reference to the phrase "Run, Barry. Run!" A common phrase used in The Flash, another CW series.
- This marks the furthest vision Maggie has ever seen. She sees the future of 2026.
- Celeste departs with the words "I'm here when you need me. But not when you don't." This is likely a reference to Nanny McPhee.

References to the Original Charmed[]
- Maggie having a disturbing vision, which forces her and Macy to visit the future, is very akin to Morality Bites" from the original series when Phoebe has a horrifying premonition of her own execution, so the sisters cast a one-time spell that catapults them into the future to try to change her fate.
- By traveling to the future, Macy and Maggie find out the world has come to an end and return to the present to stop it. In the original, the Charmed Ones find out from Piper's second son from the future, Chris, that her first son turned evil and created a dark future for the world, prompting them to find the evil that would eventually corrupt him.
- The year Macy and Maggie travel to is 2026—five years from their own time. In the original, Chris travels back to the past from the year 2026.
- In addition, the year 2026 would be counted as eight years since the sisters first received their powers in 2018. It reflected the amount of years the original show lasted.
- Celeste explains that, while in the future, Macy and Maggie will not be able to use their powers, but can still cast spells and use potions. In the original series, the sisters losing their powers but still being able to cast spells and use potions after time travelling was a regular occurrence.
- Abigael's characterisation in the future, resembles Piper's, in the alternate world Paige travels to, in "Centennial Charmed".
- Mel tries meditating to a recording. Her counterpart Piper, also did this, when she developed her new powers.
- A side effect of Harry's treatment, causes him to act like a child. This happened to the Charmed Ones, in "Cheaper by the Coven".
Production Notes[]
- The episode was watched by 0.41 million U.S. viewers.
Quotes[]
Celeste: Well, from here on in, I'll have your cooperation? Wherever you are in your development cycle.
Harry: Well, I'm feeling in the eighteen to twenty-one range, which is old enough to start to feel badly for the trouble I've caused.
Mel: I don't understand it yet, but I think my future self sent this baby here to do more than just stay safe. I think it's here to help save us from our allergy.
