Dr. Scott Lawrence is a professor at Seattle State College.
History[]
In "You Can't Touch This", Maggie Vera enters her classroom early and calls to Dr. Lawrence. He is impressed that Maggie is early, and confuses Maggie with his new assistant. Maggie tells him that she is a new student of his. She makes an effort to engage with him, but Dr. Lawrence ignores her soon as Antonio Garcia comes in and they converse about their shared Alma Mater. Maggie later tells Mel Vera that her first meeting with Dr. Lawrence was disappointing, but argues that she cannot tell him that he was in the wrong when he ignored her for Antonio or confused her as the new assistant when Mel tells her that she should voiced that to him.
The next day Dr. Lawrence is teaching a class on intimacy. Maggie raises her hand and lists the types of intimacy, while also theorizing which intimacy types are the strongest. Maggie is about to finish her sentence when Antonio interrupts her with a new theory. Antonio keeps interrupting her until it gets to the point where Maggie snaps back at him. Dr. Lawrence takes his side, calling Maggie rude while she tries to argue that Antonio was the one being rude. She is overcome by the emotions of fear and panic and she leaves the classroom before an panic attack will happen.
Maggie, after some hesitance with that encounter in the class, decides to put her name in the race for the internship. He warns her that the race for the Internship is competitive, but she's not discouraged as she has extra motivation to win it. She gives Dr. Lawrence a book titled "Men Talk Over Me: A Guide To Understanding Toxic Masculinity", choosing not to never get spoken over by any man again.

Antonio also suggested that Dr. Lawrence gave them both the internship because he knew one person would be "buried" under the issued files.
In "What to Expect When You're Expecting the Apocalypse", Maggie pretends that Dr. Lawrence told her to look over a large amount of files in one night. She uses this to douse Antonio with Truth Serum after being led to believe that he is the Whispering Evil.
