The second monster was a resurrected corpse of an unknown man and the second experiment of the Faction, a group of humans led by Vivienne Laurent and Julian Shea that desired to steal magic for themselves. The man died at some point in early 2019, his body eventually ending up donated to the medical research of the Faction. Three months after his death in mid-late 2019, he was unveiled by Bruce, having been turned into a monster. He played a part in helping the Vera-Vaughn Charmed Ones come to terms with their duty and reclaim the Power of Three before being vanquished by the sisters.

Background[]
During his lifetime, he was a mortal who died of unknown causes in Tacoma, WA, three months before meeting the Charmed Ones. After his death, his body was unclaimed and ended up with the Faction, where they resurrected him with black amber and placed the magic of a golem, strige, griffin, basilisk, lich and kyon within him, turning him into a monster.[1]
Throughout the Series[]
In "Third Time's the Charm", the monstrous corpse was unveiled by Bruce, a member of the Faction, to attack the Vera-Vaughn Charmed Ones after they arrived to save an unknown witch, later revealed to be a retired Elder named Celeste. However, Maggie Vera smashed the watch that controlled the monster. Then, the monster killed Bruce before smoking away. Later, he killed an innocent witch before finally being vanquished by the Charmed Ones with the Power of Three.

Physical Appearance[]
He was white, bald man with blue eyes. In his monster form, he received yellow eyes and long yellow claws.
Powers and Abilities[]
The monster was revealed to have been imbued with the magic of various magical creatures: a golem, a griffin, a strige, a lich, a basilisk and a kyon. However, he was only shown using the following powers:
- Active Powers
- Acid Secretion: The ability to produce highly corrosive acid from the mouth. The magic infused monster used this power to vaporize Bruce and later to attack the Charmed Ones.
- Claw Extension: The ability to possess claws instead of fingernails. The monster used this power to kill a witch.
- Venom Secretion: The ability to produce lethal venom. The venom seemed to secrete from the monster's claws, which he used to kill his victims.
- Smoking: The ability to move instantaneously from one location to another in a puff of smoke.
- Supernatural Agility: The ability to be more agile than naturally possible. The magic infused monster used this to do a leap after Macy Vaughn's attack.
- Inactive Powers
- Resistance: The ability to resist or fight through certain powers. He was able to resist Mel's Molecular Inhibition, which only momentarily froze his head before he was able to break free.
- Immunity: The ability to be unaffected by certain powers. The monster used it to counter Mel's Molecular Acceleration.

Trivia[]
- The strings of acid that the Second Monster killed their victims looks the same as the Scabbars did it in the original series.
- In the reboot, the corpse was labeled as a "John Doe" on his DNA test report. John or Jane Doe is a name that is given when a person's true identity is unknown.
