Sonic Ball Generation is the power to create and project balls of sonic energy. The sonic ball is formed through the hands and is used to attack a target.

This power manifests as a blue glowing ball that is formed in the user's hands. When thrown, it can heavily harm, or even completely destroy, those in its path and can leave behind a fire in the color blue. It is also powerful enough to melt metal, for example: magical chains of restraint. The unleashing of this ball is accompanied by a blast of noise.

- Maggie Vera nicknamed Cyd "the sonic ball witch", effectively naming this power.
- The impact of these balls is very similar to the effect of Mel's version of the Solar Charm.
- Cyd's sonic balls are very similar in appearance to the energy balls from the original series.
- It is almost certain, but not officially confirmed yet, that Maggie didn't have enough knowledge about this power and assumed it was a sonic ball, or simply nicknamed it on the spot in order to refer to it, even though this power is a form of energy ball and not related to sound in any way.
- A similar thing like this has happened again by Mel when she jokingly referred to the Solar Charm as a sonic ball, when she was talking with Niko, in Sweet Tooth.
- The reason why it was nicknamed a sonic ball, may be a reference to Sonic the Hedgehog, as these energy balls look very similar to him when he runs at the speed of sound and curls up into a ball to roll faster.
