The Spear Spell is a spell seemingly created by Maggie Vera in order to place a spearhead at the tip of her baton.
History[]
In "Bruja-Ha", Maggie Vera used the spell for the first time on her baton to vanquish a doppelgänger in the Black Forest after it had become dormant due to Mel Vera arriving and being unable to take the form of two people at once.
While glamoured as Abigael Jameson-Caine in "Perfecti Is the Enemy of Good", Maggie used the spell on her baton in an attempt to intimidate Fenric the Vile into revealing the demonic word she needed to animate a golem. Fenric, however, found the use of the spell amusing and jokingly asked if she was going to "shish-kabob" the password out of him, which made Maggie change tactics and find a new way to get the password.
In "The Storm Before the Calm", Maggie used the spell on her baton to smash the Whispering Evil after he had been expelled from Jordan Chase, and Mel had frozen him in his primordial form, causing the monster to shatter into tons of pieces across the floor. However, he was later able to regenerate himself.
