Spell Blockers, also known as rose rings, are rosewood rings that are enchanted to protect the user from spells and powers.

Overview[]

Any person that wears these rings are protected from not only the magic of witches, but seemingly all magic.^[1] Witch hunters are known to wear them to protect themselves from the powers and spells of their targets.

A flaw and weakness of a spell blocker seems to be that they protect the wearer from magic, but are not immune to magic themselves, which can be used to a witch's advantage. For example, Mel Vera was able to destroy one of these rings with her power.

Effects[]

Immunity: The rings grant those wearing them immunity to the effects of spell casting and magical powers.

Trivia[]

It's currently unknown how these rings were enchanted to protect the wearers from magic. It could be that they are made from some sort of magical substance, but this is never specified.
Weirdly, while the rings were supposed to repel magic, one of them was proven unable to withstand the temporal powers of a time witch accelerating time around it until the point that it disintegrated.
In the original series, Agent Jackman was a witch hunter who bore a talisman that protected him from all powers wielded by witches, however, he was still vulnerable to the powers of other supernatural beings.
