Sudden Death is the fourteenth episode of the second season of Charmed and the thirty-sixth episode of the series overall. It premiered on February 28, 2020.
Synopsis[]
WORSE THAN EXPECTED – The Charmed Ones must track down an enemy to save one of their own. In the course of their mission, Maggie (Sarah Jeffery) comes face to face with Parker (guest star Nick Hargrove), Macy (Madeleine Mantock) solicits Julian's (Eric Balfour) help, and Mel (Melonie Diaz) and Harry (Rupert Evans) uncover a monstrous truth. Also starring Poppy Drayton and Jordan Donica.
Plot[]
In this episode, Macy is trying to figure out how to sever the connection between Harry and his Darklighter but is not having success. Julian comes and offers to help her, even though he thinks Harry is just sick. Julian offers Macy a chance to work with him, but she does not say no or yes. Macy comes up with an idea to merge Harry with his Darklighter after talking with Julian.
The girls are still trying to get the Power of Three back but are not having luck. Maggie and Jordan go to Abigael because Maggie thinks she did something to block the Power of Three when she took Macy's powers and she wants to find the ritual dagger. Jordan goes with her because he still wants to help balance the scales of justice but Maggie doesn't tell Jordan that Parker is still alive. Abigael becomes suspicious when Maggie pretends to get a text from Mel and thinks that Maggie is going to find Parker.
Maggie sees Parker in the dungeon while she is looking to the dagger. He tries to apologize but she doesn’t want to hear it. Abigael finds Maggie and tells her she didn't do anything to block the Power of Three. Maggie leaves with Jordan and Parker tells Jordan to take care of her.
Mel and Harry try to find Harry's Darklighter because they think he might be in trouble and Harry will die if he dies. Mel and Harry go to the place where all the magical creatures were being kept but they are all gone. They try to figure out what happened and by casting a spell and they figure out all of the magic of the creatures were put together to create one strong magical creature. The bodies that were resurrected are being used as the hosts. Harry finds his Darklighter in a bottle and he and Mel leave after fighting the creature that was created.
In the end, we can see Vivienne leading the group who are trying to stop magic.
