Telekinetic Immobilization is a branch of advanced telekinesis, and is the power to telekinetically cause other beings to become motionless.
Overview[]
Telekinetics with enough control over their power are able to produce a field of telekinetic energy that can immobilize beings by wrapping the energy around them. However, this application seems to be based solely on concentration and force, with it being possible for users to not be able to hold their victims for very long.
History[]
In "The Enemy of My Frenemy", while under the effects of the Cloaking Serum, Maggie Vera and Macy Vaughn infiltrated a demonic ceremony, with the help of Parker Caine, in order to rescue Mel Vera and Abigael Jameson-Caine. However, the Cloaking Serum wore off too quickly, and the demonic crowd started to rush towards them. Thinking quickly, without realizing it, Macy held her hands up, projecting a telekinetic field of energy that immobilized every demon in the area. Macy did express uncertainty in how long she could hold the demons, but did manage to immobilize them long enough to allow the group of five to escape.
When fighting an ancient monster in "You Can't Touch This", Macy used her powers to try and immobilize it. However, Chupa-Alma was able to resist her immobilization enough to still move, although at a slow pace. Macy kept her concentration up, but needed help from her sisters to stop the monster, believing it was getting closer to slipping from her power. With Macy still trying to keep the creature at bay, Maggie used her powers to calm Chupa-Alma down, while Mel accelerated its molecules to the point it exploded.
