Third Time's the Charm	Search Party

The Enemy of My Frenemy is the sixteenth episode of the second season of Charmed and the thirty-eighth episode of the series overall. It premiered on April 3, 2020.

Synopsis

JOINING FORCES – The Charmed Ones (Melonie Diaz, Madeleine Mantock, Sarah Jeffery) must join forces with Parker (guest star Nick Hargrove) when Mel is endangered in the demon world. Harry (Rupert Evans) and Jordan (Jordan Donica) infiltrate the Faction with dangerous consequences. Also starring Poppy Drayton.

Plot

Harry and Macy are still investigating the Faction that appears to be using the dead with their magic to create monsters. Meanwhile, Mel and Maggie are sparring. Macy arrives to have coffee with Julian. He asked her if she's playing hard to get because she's late. She tells him she's just busy. He just wants to know if she's into their relationship. She tells him that she is. He passes her a box, a necklace.

The sisters are called to Oakland. They arrived to find a frantic witch who tells them that demons are after her. Suddenly several of them surround the sisters. They use their powers to kill all of them before one dies he tells them that they have no idea what they've done.

Abigael is notified that a very well known demon has just been taken out by the Charmed Ones. Meanwhile, Harry is staking out a medical facility in Idaho who is part of the Faction. Harry goes to ask Jordan for help. He knows that Jordan knows about the sisters and he needs him to go to the medical facility dead.

The sisters pay Abigael a visit. She is irritated with them since they broke the truth and now she has a headache on her hands.

Harry and Jordan arrive at the medical facility. It takes Jordan a little bit after Harry transports him there. Harry gives Jordan a vile, a potion that will make him dead so he can get into the facility.

Abigael brings the sisters to a mansion. A demon who can help them lives there, she's also an influencer on Instagram. They arrive in inches through the front door to dozens of people inside doing makeup and posting videos.

Godric speaks to Parker through his prison cell. He tells Parker that he wants him to find and take out Abigael, he has had it with her.

Harry wheels Jordan and pretends that he is a delivery man. Back at the demons house, Godric shows up with Parker and a bunch of demons. Parker is surprised to see Maggie. He is there for Abigael's head. Once the leading female demon hears that she is out. Godric tells Abigael that he warned her and now instead of just her head he is going to have her head and the witches. Just then Parker transports Macy and Maggie back home. Abigael and Mel are locked in a cell.

Abigael makes a deal with the guards to let her out. Mel is left behind to fend for herself. Back at home, Macy tells Maggie that they might have to rely on the help of Parker to get Mel back. Mel is shocked when Abigael returns to see her, taking out a guard.

Jordan comes to. Florence's ghost talks to him. She tells Jordan that he is in the place between life and death. She tells Jordan to warn the Charmed Ones. He joins the living just in time. He hides in a lab hoping Harry will come to him soon. He poses as a janitor. Moments later Harry comes by and they pretend they don’t know one another.

Godric has Abigael and Mel tied and ready to torture in front of a crowd. Suddenly Parker emerges. While Godric is distracted, Maggie and Macy appear, releasing Abigael and Mel. Something has gone awry with Macy's new power, the crowd is frozen. They talk they take off as fast as they can.

Parker and Abigael talk. He wants one last favor from her. Later, Parker and Abigael show up at the bar with her sisters are having a drink. Parker would like to talk to Maggie alone, he confessed to her that he has his sister strip him of his powers. He wants to start fresh with her. She tells him that this won’t erase his past, he hurt her. He apologizes to her but it's not enough.

Mel and Abigael talk. Mel tells her that maybe she'll one day be inspired to join the witchy side and leave the demon side alone.

Harry leaves the facility with Nadia who believes he is Jimmy. She asks him how he got out.

Energy Ball Generation: Used by Parker to generate balls of electrical energy to threaten Abigael and later to attack Godric.
Flight: Used by Alfie, Lee and several other Carnals to fly in swarming bees form. Alfie was able to stay afloat outside of this form for a few moments during his vanquish beefier finally crumbling away.
Heat Generation: Used by Godric to hold Abigael and the Charmed Ones in their position.
Limited Shapeshifting: Used by Alfie and his group of Carnals, and jester by Lee, to transform into swarms of bees. Also, it was used by Alfie, Lee and Parker to show their demonic red eyes.
Orbing: Used by Harry in a failed attempt to orb into the facility and later orb with Jordan to hijack a van.
Portal Creation: Used by the Charmed Ones through the system of the Command Center.
Pyrokinesis: Used by Abigael to take fire from a burning candle and try to attack Parker.
Smoking: Used by Parker to teleport Maggie and Macy to safety.
Telekinetic Immobilization: Used by Macy to temporarily halt a group of demons.

Artifacts

Power Cuffs: Used to negate Abigael and Mel's powers.
Ritual Dagger: Used by Abigael to kill one of the henchmen and to remove Parker's demonic side.

References to the Original Charmed

Parker gave up his powers and became fully mortal in this episode. In the original series, Cole Turner was once stripped of his powers until he became the Source.
Jordan drank a death trance potion. In the original series, Prue drank a similar potion to release her spirit from her body and cast a spell to vanquish an evil spirit.
Jordan's experience with orbing was similar to the original sisters' first experience with orbing.
Jordan meets Florence whilst trapped in Purgatory, a place between life and death. In the original series, Purgatory is a term for a plane between Earth and the Underworld, while the Ghostly Plane, is a place between life and death.
