Hi Badwitch16, just wondering what the policy on capitalisation on this community is? I've seen instances — mind you the majority of the wiki — where capitalisation is somewhat miss-used. For example, it seems common that mid-sentence the Elders are referred to as "The Elders" whilst the Charmed Ones are referred to as "The Charmed Ones". I'm only asking because there are also instances where they are referred to in the lowercase, so it is confusing to see both happening simultaneously.
It should be "the Elders" or "the Charmed Ones" unless it's the beginning of a sentence of course. I've been trying to correct the spelling and change it where I see it but I think some of the more frequent editors continue to do it though I'm not sure why.
Hey, I've gone ahead and fixed those capitalisation errors — should be all correct now. Whilst I was there, I've applied general fixes to formatting etc, shouldn't be noticeable visually, but is now correct in-editor. Let me know if there is anything else my bot can assist with! :)
Hey, I was using a larger monitor when I placed everything, but now I'm using a smaller one, I can see that Harry is hardly on the background at all. I'm not at my PC where the background is saved as of now, but when I am, I'll make some adjustments and involve Harry more :)
Oh, and I've noticed while editing, I think that your bot uncapitalized every "the" in front of things like "The Elders" and "The Charmed Ones." While this is okay if those titles are placed midsentence, but it has even affected those at the beginning of sentences/paragraphs.
Can you link some examples? Due to the nature of how varied the possibilities for "The Elders" or "The Charmed Ones" in the middle of sentences could be, I uncapitalised everything and then capitalised the following:
Beginning of sentences.
Following bullet points.
Following bullets that could be links.
I was pretty thorough with the regex, so it should have caught everything — if you have some examples (even if you've changed them back), can you let me know so I can see what went wrong.
I see, I'll run again and tweak the regex slightly; should catch those strays. I understand why it didn't capitalise "the Elders" article as it was my test article therefore wouldn't have been in the list, but it should've caught the rest.
