Worm Monster

The worm monster is a dangerous, magical worm-like creature with the power to make itself invisible. It once freely roamed Earth during a time when the world was filled with chaotic magic and dangerous beings. However, it was imprisoned within the Tomb of Chaos by the Perfecti and confined there for thousands of years.

In the year 2021, the monster managed to escape the tomb through a rift. Although briefly vanquished by Macy Vaughn, it managed to regenerate from a droplet of its own blood. Eventually, the monster was reimprisoned within the tomb by the Perfecti.

History[]

Early Life[]

In ancient times, a colossal worm-like creature roamed the Earth alongside other perilous magical entities. Recognizing the need for order, the magical tribes pooled together their powers to create the Perfecti. Together, these entities corralled the chaotic creatures, confining them within a prison dimension later known as the "Tomb of Chaos." The monstrous worm remained imprisoned for millennia.

Temporary Freedom[]

In 2021, the Charmed Ones read the inscription from the Stone Tablet in hopes of finding answers to their problems. However, this inadvertently caused the rifts between Earth and the Tomb of Chaos to open more frequently, allowing many monsters to escape from their prison. Macy Vaughn, one of the Charmed Ones, tracked down the monster and vanquished it with a dagger before it could kill an innocent man. Unbeknownst to Macy, its residue landed on her jacket. When she returned to the Command Center, the blood dripped onto the floor. From the blood droplet, the monster regenerated into a small version of itself. The creature concealed itself in SafeSpace until it fully grew back to its normal, humongous size. Later, it attempted to ambush Maggie Vera from behind but was quickly detected by Mo and Aladria. They acted swiftly to send it back into the tomb.

Powers and Abilities[]

Active Powers
  • Invisibility: The ability to make oneself unable to be seen by others. The worm monster was able to actively make itself seen or unseen, often using this power to sneak up on its potential prey.
Inactive Powers
  • Regeneration: The ability to regrow one's body after total destruction. The worm monster was able to regenerate itself from a small droplet of its own blood after it had been vanquished.
  • Size Manipulation: The ability to alter the physical size of one's body. When the worm monster regenerated itself, it was initially as small as the droplet of blood but swiftly regrows to its normal, humongous size later the same day.
  • Venom Secretion: The ability to project poisonous venom. The monster injured Macy and produced a venom in her system that nearly killed her.

Trivia[]

  • The creature's ability to regenerate following vanquishment resembles that of the Slime Demon from the original series, which was capable of regenerating from its own residue.
